Scarborough hypocritically slams Hannity’s show with new label

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough had some harsh criticisms for media competitor Sean Hannity Monday, labeling his show and Fox News’s coverage of Trump Jr.’s private meeting with Russian officials “state run media.”

Commenting on Trump legal adviser Jay Sekulow’s explanation of the events that preceded and came after the now infamous meeting on Fox News, Scarborough said it was simply “not true.” Scarborough was thoroughly unimpressed with Hannity’s handling of an interview with Don Jr. on his show.

“Then going on a TV show that basically is state-run television and being asked at the end of that TV show, ‘Is there anything else that we don’t know about?’ And Don Jr. saying, ‘That’s it,’” Scarborough said on his MSNBC show “Morning Joe.”

The opposing hosts have never been close. Hannity previously made his feelings on Scarborough crystal clear on Twitter.
