Sean Hannity isn’t taking comments made by cable news colleague Joe Scarborough lightly. Scarborough, co-host of ‘Morning Joe’ on MSNBC, was once a Republican congressman, but he often attacks those on the Right.  This is one of those times.

On Friday, Scarborough leveled insults at Hannity in a viscous attack not typically seen in the TV news industry. While Scarborough admitted it was “kind of gross” to talk negatively about his competitors, he went on to make harsh remarks about Hannity and the way he reported the murder of former DNC staffer, Seth Rich.

“Now we are reduced to fake news and Sean Hannity ripping the hearts out of parents over their son — their young gifted son — who was shot in the back.  He [Hannity] is trying to twist that into something that somehow helps Donald Trump. It’s gross and it’s repulsive,” Scarborough said.

MSNBC contributor, Donny Deutch added that he felt Hannity’s actions were despicable and disgusting. “What type of person does that?”  Scarborough added. “I’ll tell you what. A person that has no shame.”

Industry online magazine Mediaite reached out o Hannity for a response.  Hannity, who is currently on vacation, responded by saying. “LOL, Joe and Mika are so cute together. Do they hold hands under the desk?” Hannity reportedly said. “That would be the only reason to watch the low rated daily emotional breakdowns they have.”

The murder of Seth Rich is a lighting rod of controversy, and up until last week Sean Hannity was looking deeper into the murder because he doesn’t believe it was the result of a mugging-gone-wrong.  He, like so many others, believes Rich was the target of a murder plot that connects back to WikiLeaks and the DNC email scandal that took shape prior to the 2016 election.  You can read about it by clicking here.
