Millions of Americans are angered over San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the National Anthem in a preseason football game on Friday.
When asked about the Kaepernick controversy during a radio interview on KIRO’s Dori Monson Show, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump criticized Kaepernick, saying what many Americans had on their minds:
“I have followed it and I think it’s personally not a good thing,” Trump said. “I think it’s a terrible thing, and you know, maybe he should find a country that works better for him. Let him try, it won’t happen.”
