Former national security adviser Michael Flynn offered Thursday to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on their investigation into the alleged Russian “interference” in the 2016 presidential election, in exchange for being granted personal immunity.

Friday morning, the committee rejected the offer, according to a Twitter post by NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent Kasie Hunt.

Hunt tweeted that the committee said they’re “not receptive” to his immunity request at this time.
