The famous Milwaukee sheriff, David A. Clarke sent an email to CNN stating that he refuses to speak with the network that President Trump has labeled “fake news” and will continue not to speak with them until President Trump says it’s O.K. again.
CNN reporter Jeremy Diamond, assigned to cover President Trump, posted on his own social media account an email that was reportedly sent out on Friday by Milwaukee Sheriff David A. Clarke in response to a request for an interview.
The email from the sheriff and popular Fox News commentator read as follows:
Clarke was referring to a story that CNN aired about the Russian government possibly having damaging information on President Trump, followed by their report on a BuzzFeed “dossier” containing completely fake and unverified claims against President Trump.
In response to what CNN did, President Trump “tore CNN up” at a press conference and refused to take any questions from their reporter, explaining that he won’t answer questions from a fake news network.
