Shooting at Florida fitness center leaves shooter dead

According to The Miami Herald, a man shot himself dead after opening fire inside a fitness center in Florida on Saturday. The shooter opened fire inside the Equinox fitness center around 1 p.m.  He wounded two people. Police responded to the Village of Merrick Park mall in Coral Gables and immediately put the mall on lockdown.

Reportedly, the shooter was a disgruntled personal trainer.  According to eye witnesses, the two victims were the general manager and another trainer.  They were both taken to a local hospital, but their conditions remain unknown.

UPDATE:  TV reports identified the alleged gunman as 33-year-old Abeku Wilson.  Gym general manager Janine Ackerman, 35, died at a local hospital while fitness manager Marios Hortis, 42, was in critical condition, according to reports.
