MICHIGAN – A teen was shot to death at a graduation party after a group of people that were kicked out of the party decided to return.
Luke Filary, 18, was fatally shot at his cousin’s graduation party early Sunday morning at a Roseville home, according to reports.
Authorities said four people were asked to leave the party after a dispute erupted, but they returned shortly after and one of them opened fire at the crowd of party-goers.
Filary was hit by the gunfire and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man and he is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday. The suspect’s name has not been revealed.
Roseville Deputy Police Chief Donald Glandon said, “After 30 years of doing this, sometimes you look at it and there’s no reasonable explanation.”
