NEW JERSEY — An Atlantic City police officer has been shot and is in a critical condition after he was shot during a shootout with a group of a black man.  Police shot and killed one of three suspects and are looking for the two other gunmen who fled the scene.
It all happened at Caesars Casino early Saturday morning.

The shootout happened after police stopped a vehicle with three black men inside near the casino’s parking garage. That’s when one of the men shot at the officers before they returned fire, according to police reports.

Police have not yet established a motive for the shooting.   Meanwhile, New Jersey State Police Benevolent Association have put up a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two suspects.  Atlantic City PD released a video of the suspects.
