A truck bearing a “Make America Great Again” flag and an American flag came under gunfire in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tuesday, according to Indiana State Police.

The truck was traveling eastbound on I-465 around 4 p.m. when shots were fired from a late-model 4-door Chevrolet with a Louisiana license plate.

According to the victim and a witness, the Malibu pulled up alongside the pickup truck and a male passenger held a handgun out of the window, firing several shots at the blue 2001 Dodge pickup.

No injuries occurred as a result of the incident.

The Malibu was driven by a black male believed to be approximately 23 years old. Witnesses described the passenger as a light-skinned black male with a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Police are still seeking information regarding the incident.
