Sixteen states are using voting machines purchased from Smartmatic, a company run by a man who sits on the board of an organization with a global, open-borders agenda.
Based in the United Kingdom, Smartmatic’s chairman, Mark Malloch-Brown, is a former U.N. official, and a board member of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations – an organization who has spent millions supporting Hillary Clinton.
Open Society Foundations has also financially funded and directed many activist groups seeking to attack Donald Trump and other conservative campaigns, including Black Lives Matter and MoveOn.org.
Adding to the concern is the fact that 7 states using the Smartmatic machines are key battleground states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Other states using the machines are California, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.
Smartmatic became involved in elections in the United States when they bought out a California company, Sequoia Voting Systems, in 2005.
Lifezette reports that Malloch-Brown’s connections to Soros go far beyond his role with Open Society Foundations.
In the mid-1990s, Malloch-Brown was part of the Soros Advisory Committee on Bosnia. Malloch-Brown is also a member of the executive committee of the International Crisis Group, an organization he co-founded in the 1990s and built primarily with funds from George Soros’ personal fortune.
Whilst working for the U.N., Malloch-Brown rented an apartment from Soros when on assignment in New York. In 2007, Soros appointed Malloch-Brown vice president of his Quantum Funds, vice chairman of Soros Fund Management, and vice chairman of the Open Society Institute (the former name of OSF).
Malloch-Brown also has ties to the Clintons. Clinton associate Mandy Grunwald once worked at Sawyer-Miller, a consulting firm where Malloch-Brown was a partner – the very firm who had a communications contract with the 1992 Clinton campaign, overseen by Grunwald.
In another Clinton connection, Lifezette reported that Malloch-Brown was a senior adviser to FTI Consulting, a firm where 15-year Clinton aide Jackson Dunn is a senior managing director.
Smartmatic machines have already been suspected of fraud in Venezuela elections. A 2006 document released by WikiLeaks revealed suspicions that the machines may have played a role in handing landslide victories to Hugo Chavez in 2004.
“The Smartmatic machines used in Venezuela are widely suspected of, though never proven conclusively to be, susceptible to fraud,” the memo read. “The Venezuelan opposition is convinced that the Smartmatic machines robbed them of victory in the August 2004 referendum. Since then, there have been at least eight statistical analyses performed on the referendum results.”
