Storm in Mexico caught on video looks like ‘end of the world’

Two videos of a supercell thunderstorm that struck Chihuahua, Mexico, Tuesday evoke frightening scenarios of what the end of the world might look like.

Supercell thunderstorms feature a rotating updraft such as the one captured on the videos. The storm’s funnel cloud is bright white and well-defined with the base of the storm spinning around the funnel.

La Opcion called it “the tail of the devil,” which seems appropriate, doesn’t it?
