Monday evening a 19-year-old student was arrested inside Trump Tower after being caught with a backpack full of weapons and fireworks.

Around 6:35 pm Monday, Secret Service agents stopped Alexander Wang, a student at Baruch College, and asked what he had in his backpack?

He told them the truth – weapons.  Wang said he’s a Trump supporter, and a survivalist, who is into martial arts, and that he always carries his weapons with him.

Indeed, when the agents searched his bag, the NY Post reported they pulled out a large hunting knife in a pouch, an M100 firecracker, handcuffs, a switchblade, a flashlight, an 8-foot-long black rope and a garrote.

Moreover, this isn’t the first time Wang has been to Trump Tower with his arsenal.  He reportedly told police that he has been to Trump Tower with his bag of weapons more than 10 times – including two days after Trump was elected.   He said he likes to come there to study.   He is reported to be from Poughquag in upstate New York.

Police arrested Wang, who has no criminal background, and charged him with two counts of criminal possession in the fourth degree and unlawful possession of fireworks, the NY Post reported.

Police also discovered more fireworks inside Wang’s dorm room at Baruch College.
