A high school math teacher in New Hampshire took her impersonation of Donald Trump one step too far, and has been removed from the classroom.
The teacher, Kara Kelley, of the Portsmouth School District in New Hampshire, came to school dressed up as Trump, which might have not caused any issues at all.
But when one of the students started playing a song with the lyrics “F*** Donald Trump” and Kelley started dancing to it, that crossed the line.
Michael Grondahl said his son texted him from geometry class around 9:00 am to tell him what was happening, and said the teacher was making fun of Trump and he felt very uncomfortable. Grondahl said the teacher definitely showed bad judgement and should be setting a better example.
Ironically, Grondahl said after he had taken his family to a Trump rally in Portsmouth, the very same teacher had asked his son in school if he thought Trump was a good role model?
“It’s very hypocritical,” he said. “It’s extremely poor judgment.”
The teacher has not been fired, but she has been removed from her classroom until this is sorted out, reported Seacoastonline.
“I will say that the teacher is not presently in the classroom, and we are investigating the situation,” Superintendent of Schools Stephen Zadravec said. “There is no place for offensive language in our school community, nor is it our practice in school to support or discredit political candidates.”
