Earlier on Sunday, a man named Devin Kelley, 26, walked into First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas during the 11:30 service and started shooting, killing 26 and injuring over a dozen more. He was gunned down by police after a chase.
Although details remain vague, the calls from the left for gun control are loud and clear.
There is no motive as of 6:30pm Eastern Standard Time, but that didn’t stop progressive Chelsea Handler from tweeting a response that is outrageous. The Netflix star tweeted that Republicans are responsible for the mass shooting.
“Innocent people go to church on Sunday to honor their God, and while doing so, get shot in killed. What country? America. Why? Republicans,” the actress tweeted Sunday afternoon.
Handler gave no explanation for why she blamed Republicans, although presumably she was referring for many GOP lawmakers’ support of less strict gun control legislation.
Handler is not the only familiar name with something to say. Here is a list of tweets from the left.

Senseless gun violence has torn apart another community — this time in a house of worship. When do we say enough is enough? https://t.co/gsW1KN54xc

Enough is enough. Now is the time for commonsense gun violence prevention steps. Congressional complicity must end.

Once again, we will pray and mourn the fallen. Our leaders will express the grief of the nation. And do nothing.

Where's the next mass shooting gonna be? Any guesses? Should we try to do anything we can to prevent it? No? Ok cool. Good luck out there!
