SOUTH CAROLINA: Authorities said a black man pulled out a gun during an confrontation in front of a nightclub in Lyman, South Carolina, early Sunday morning and fired into a crowd, hitting three people.

Jody Ray Thompson (Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office)

Jody Ray Thompson is the shooter.  He would have shot more people but he was stopped by a concealed carry permit holder who pulled out his gun and shot Thompson in the leg.

The concealed carry permit holder, who hasn’t been named, cooperated with investigators and won’t be facing any charges stemming from the 3:30 a.m. incident, according to local news reports.

Thompson, 32, was charged with four counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

None of the people shot by Thompson were killed, and all are expected to recover from their injuries.  But it’s amazing how the mainstream media overlooked this story.   We believe it’s because the concealed carry permit holder saved the lives of so many people.
