Yet another crime caught on Facebook live has been shared 1,500 times and achieved 84,000 views, according to the New York Post. Stemming from the incident, three teenagers are facing kidnapping and sexual assault charges. (Details of the case are disturbing and not appropriate for some readers.)

Charged in the case are three Mississippi teens. The video was recorded in a Gulfport home late Tuesday night, according to reports.

Authorities were called to the home in response to allegations of assault, where they discovered the video depicting the egregious attack on a 23-year old woman.

Fox News describes the images recorded:

“The video begins inside a bathroom with a man demanding oral sex from the woman. Others in the background also demand that the woman performs the sex act, The Clarion-Ledger reported. A female could be heard saying that the alleged victim could not leave until she performed the act.

“She said: ‘She ain’t going home’ and that the woman is going to perform the sexual acts ‘until her throat swells up.'”

The three people charged thus far are 19-year-old Haleigh Alexis Hudson, and Ezzie Johnson and Kadari Fabien Booker, both 17. The assault took place at Hudson’s home.

Johnson allegedly recorded the sexual and physical assault, and will be charged as an adult, Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania said in a news conference Wednesday.

Tiffany Hailey, who watched the scene play out live on Facebook, reportedly reached out to the victim but didn’t call police. The Clarion-Ledger reports she described the incident as follows: “This is gut wrenchingly horrific. It’s really, really, bad.”

The video has since been removed from the social networking site, but not before amassing thousands of views and shares. According to Papania, videos depicting such heinous acts are a trend he expects to continue.

“I wish people would look at just how warped our society has become,” he said. “We videotape pain and suffering, then we share it and we view it over and over. And I don’t doubt this story will be dead in two days and everybody [will] move on to something else and you still have a victim of a crime.”

The Clarion-Ledger reports that the victim in the alleged assault has special needs, and Papania said additional charges could come as a result of the investigation.

Haleigh Alexis Hudson, who was also wanted on a charge of sexual battery, reportedly surrendered to police and is being held on $400,000 bond.

The other two teens were arrested. Ezzie Johnson is being held on a $200,000 bond on a charge of kidnapping. Johnson will be charged as an adult. Kadari Fabien Booker is charged with felony kidnapping and sexual assault. Booker’s bond was set at $500,000, according to the Sun Herald.
