NEW YORK CITY — 13 people have been injured and at least one is dead after an intoxicated 26-year old Hispanic man with a history of DWI rammed his car into the crowd walking around Times Square.  The driver’s name is Richard Rojas.  He is from the Bronx, NY.

The driver tried to run away from the scene of the crime.  A member of the NYPD tells DML that the driver is currently in custody, and the situation is being investigated.

Originally, fear was this was a terror attack.
