Defeated Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton is coming out swinging in a new book about her loss in the 2016 presidential election.

Recently, reports came out that Clinton’s new book, scheduled to come out September 12, would focus on two primary “reasons” for her loss: Russia and then-FBI director James Comey.

Now, the title of the book has been revealed, and it’s turning heads and raising eyebrows. It’s also not very original.

The title, “What Happened,” is also the name of a best-seller book written in 2008 by Scott McClellan, former-President Bush’s press secretary.

In the introduction, Clinton writes, “In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public like I was up on a wire without a net. Now, I’m letting my guard down.”

The book is being published by Simon & Schuster, according to an Associated Press report.  About the book, Simon & Schuster wrote:

“Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. In these pages, she describes what it was like to run against Donald Trump, the mistakes she made, how she has coped with a shocking and devastating loss, and how she found the strength to pick herself back up afterwards.”

A self-proclaimed “politically incorrect” group called /pol/ News Forever sent out a Twitter post, mocking the title of Clinton’s new book:

“Hillary’s new book asks “What Happened?” Well, she:
-rigged primaries
-colluded w/ foreign powers
-skipped entire States
-broke federal laws”

Below is the first book entitled “What Happened” by Scott McClellan.

Former-President Bill Clinton has a book coming out, as well, due next year, and is presently meeting with Hollywood producers to make a deal on the movie rights. His book will be titled, “The President is Missing,” and is due out in June 2018.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton and the book’s author, James Patterson, will be going to Hollywood this week to meet with interested producers in person, including J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, Steve Bing and George Clooney.

The project is reportedly being treated as “top secret,” and details on the book’s plot are not being revealed. A clue was given in a May 8 statement that simply said the book will reveal “insider details that only a president can know.”

During the 2016 presidential campaign, a book by former Secret Service Agent Gary Byrne, titled “Crisis of Character” stirred up a lot of controversy and had the Clinton team in a panic, as it exposed many behind-the-scenes incidents Byrne experienced working in the Secret Service for the Clinton administration.

On the Amazon pre-order page, part of the book description reads: “Having witnessed the personal and political dysfunction of the Clinton White House–so consumed by scandal and destroying their enemies, real and imagined–Byrne came to understand that, to the Clintons, governing was an afterthought. He now tells this story–before voters go to the polls–in the hopes that Clinton supporters will understand the real Hillary Clinton.”
