Topless feminists protest Woody Allen event

Topless protesters in association with the activist group FEMEN stormed famed film director Woody Allen’s jazz concert in Germany Wednesday night, protesting allegations Allen sexually abused daughter Dylan Farrow.

Reportedly, the protesters were topless and covered in black writing, and shouted in German: “Stop the culture of silence.”

They stormed the concert about 20 minutes in and attempted to read a letter written by Farrow, but were quickly escorted out by security guards.

Allen was playing clarinet with his New Orleans Jazz Band at the Hamburg philharmonic, and has used his jazz career to lay low after Farrow renewed allegations in 2014 that he molested her when she was 7. Allen has vehemently denied the allegations.

A statement later released by FEMEN, translated by THR, read:

“Although the incident occurred decades ago, Dylan (now 31) is still suffering the consequences. Woody Allen is not just the neurotic and charming director, actor and musician, but a father who likes to stick his finger in his daughter. We’d like to remind the world, and jazz fans, of that fact.”
