Emergency barrier had to be deployed to stop the truck.
Saturday evening around 8 p.m. a pickup truck approached the entry gates at the Naval Air Station Base in Kingsville, Texas. The gate guardsman stepped out to greet the vehicle as normal, but instead, the truck loaded with illegals sped up as it flew through the gate without stopping.
The officer then notified the officials at the next gate, and the emergency barrier was deployed, which is built of steel cables and rubber posts. It is designed to stop a semi-trailer at high speed. The barrier stopped the pickup instantly, injuring six illegals in the vehicle. Another three fled on foot, but were later caught.
A total of 15 illegal aliens were in the pickup. Twelve are now in custody, and three remain in the hospital – one was severely injured.
It is unknown how many were inside the cab of the pickup and how many were in the bed.
Brietbart reports that just over three years ago, an almost identical situation occurred at the same naval base entry gate, only that vehicle, also with 15 illegals, was going at a higher speed and 7 were killed.
