‘Trump assassination’ play ambushed by conservative journalist (video)

Rebel TV journalist, Laura Loomer had had enough of the Julius Caesar play depicting the assassination of President Donald Trump on Friday evening, and so she rushed the stage in protest.

“Shakespeare in the Park,” is a production of the New York Public Theater and sponsored by New York Times.  The Julius Caesar character is depicted to look like President Donald Trump, and his wife resembles First Lady Melania Trump.

Loomer marched up onto the stage in protest during the middle of the performance, shouting, “Stop the normalization of political violence against the right! This is unacceptable! You cannot promote this type of violence against Donald Trump!”

The crowd – obviously quite pleased with the play promoting violence against Trump – started booing Loomer for disrupting their entertainment, as security rushed up to the stage to take her off.  She continued yelling at them in spite of their booing. “This is violence against the right, this is violence Donald Trump! Shame on the NYC Public Theater for doing this!  Shame on Kathy Griffin! Shame on all you!” she screamed.

Her disruption was filmed by independent journalist Jack Posobiec, who also stood up and started yelling at the crowd as well, until security came and hauled him away. “You are inciting terrorists! The blood of Steve Scalise is on your hands!” Posobiec yelled at the booing crowd.

Posobiec then posted the video of the shutdown on his Twitter page:

The following video is from the cell phone that Loomer was carrying with her when she rushed onto the stage:

Posobiec said in a statement afterward, “Today we took the fight for free speech to the heart of left-wing terrorist radicalization. Goebbels would be proud. President Trump was stabbed again and again and the crowd cheered. It made my blood run cold. These people must understand their actions have consequences. I call on the Public Theater to apologize to the family of Steve Scalise.”

Loomer was arrested for crashing the play, and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. The theater announced they are pressing charges against her. At a press conference later Friday evening, Loomer said she has been given a court date of August 14.

Laura Ingraham correctly pointed out the situation would be entirely different if the play had been depicting former President Obama.

Posobiec mockingly pointed out the situation would also be different if it was a play depicting Hillary Clinton:
