Trump encourages Japan to purchase US military equipment to protect against N.Korea


President of the United States, Donald J. Trump is traveling overseas this week.

During his stop in Japan, Trump earnestly suggested that the country of Japan purchase military equipment made in the U.S.A. on Monday. The president said that such equipment will help Japan with the ability to defend itself against the rogue nation of North Korea.

“He will shoot them out of the sky when he completes the purchase of a lot of military equipment from the United States,” the president said, referring to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Trump also said Japan’s purchase of additional military equipment would help the United States with jobs while adding that Abe said he thinks Japan will buy more equipment.
