Monday morning, President Trump hosted a town hall conference at the White House, attended by approximately 50 CEOs from a wide range of industries.
Some of the companies represented at the event included JetBlue Airways, Citigroup, MasterCard, the New York Stock Exchange, General Electric, Blackstone Group, HSBC Bank USA, Vornado Realty Trust, Centerbridge Partners, Interpublic Group, and Paulson and Co.
Ivanka Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and President Trump were all speakers at the event.
The president spoke about the economy and building up the infrastructure of the nation by bringing in the best minds from the private sector.
He showed a chart that demonstrated how many governmental agencies a state government has to go through just to build a highway, costing hundreds of millions of dollars and several years just to go through the approval process.
Trump said he wants to take the approval process down from the current minimum of 10 years to a maximum of one year.
Below is a video of the full event, but it is set to start playing at the point where the president shows the chart and discusses his plans to simplify and streamline business in America.
