After Donald Trump’s meetings with Republican lawmakers in both the House and the Senate Thursday morning, Trump and his team met privately with Senator Ted Cruz and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

Trump invited Cruz to speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, and Cruz immediately accepted.

Breitbart reported that those attending the meeting were Trump, Cruz, Priebus, Trump’s daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Trump’s top aide Paul Manafort, Cruz’s campaign manager Jeff Roe, and RNC Chief of Staff Kattie Walsh.

A source described it as a “very good meeting,” with Trump and Cruz agreeing to work together on policy and political matters where they can agree, and stop working against each other.

Trump asks for Cruz’s counsel on judicial nominations, and Cruz agreed to help assist.

Trump did not ask for an endorsement, and Cruz did not offer one, but the meeting was described as a “productive mending of fences.”

Ted Cruz shared a press release confirming the meeting on Twitter:
