Thursday, a bombshell revelation from former DNC interim chair Donna Brazile was made public, as Politico published an excerpt from her new book in which she confirmed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign literally took control of the DNC months before she had the Party’s official nomination.
Brazile, who took over the leadership of the DNC after former chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was ousted in July 2016, blew the lid off on what really occurred behind the scenes during the 2016 presidential election, revealing that the Clinton campaign assisted the DNC financially, giving the campaign total control of the DNC and rigging the nomination against Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Following the news of Brazile’s big reveal, Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) admitted in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper Thursday that she did believe the Democratic primary was rigged to favor Clinton, and said it was a “real problem.”
Donald Trump Jr. responded to the news on Twitter Thursday night, as he replied to a tweet from Huffington Post contributor Yashar Ali, who said, “WOW. Elizabeth Warren told @jaketapper that she believes that the DNC/Primary situation was rigged for Hillary Clinton.”
Trump Jr replied, “It’s only been 16 months. Better late than never. EW and Donna B turning on the queen on the same day… wonder if there’s more???”
