The Department of Homeland Security is looking to hire veterans in large numbers (see announcement below). The announcement by the DHS is another positive move by the Trump administration. Thus, I think it is critically important to provide some color to the announcement.

Although the media fails to give credit to how well America is doing, the fact is, the country is on the road to recovery.

Let’s not forget that candidate Donald J. Trump promised he would help create new jobs and revive the economy. In just 200 days of being president, he has helped businesses create more than 1,000,000 new jobs, and the economy is in growth mode as the stock market hits new highs on a daily basis.

New investments in manufacturing and energy are flowing at a rapid pace. The president continues to cut back on Obama’s anti-business regulations. And if the Congress would get its act together on health care and tax reform, America would be in the best place it has been since the days of Reagan. Candidate Donald J. Trump vowed to enforce the laws of the United States and make America safe again. To date, President Trump and his administration are doing just that.

The Department of Justice is cracking down on criminals at a neck-breaking pace, and the Department of Homeland Security is beefing up border security and processing illegal aliens as the law dictates. The days of Obama allowing illegal aliens to abuse our immigration system are coming to an end, thanks to Trump.

Candidate Donald J. Trump vowed to care for our veterans. After years of neglect under the Obama administration, Trump recognized the men and women of uniform deserved better. He promised to clean up the V.A. and to help them find work here at home. As president, not only is he seeing to it that the V.A. improves, but the Department of Homeland Security is now hiring veterans for hundreds of career opportunities in mission-critical and mission-support occupations across the Department.

Put it all together and President Trump is making American great again. A perfect example of how he is keeping the promises listed above is the Department of Homeland Security’s announcement that it is hiring veterans for excellent jobs perfectly suited for people with military experience.

The following information was released by the DHS this week. Please share it far and wide so that every veteran who seeks a job is alerted to this two-day event in Washington, D.C.
