The Alt-left, the mainstream media, and most liberal lawmakers will have you believe that President Donald J. Trump is a racist. The question is, why?
Answer: He’s tough on immigration.
He’s tough on immigration because he understands the pitfalls, costs, and dangers of mass immigration both legal and illegal. He’s tough because he believes in the rule of law. But make no mistake, he is not tough on immigration because he hates immigrants.
Whether it’s the debate over the border wall, or him calling out all sides for the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, the media uses the same push back…. he’s a racist. Meanwhile, he has never said anything that is racist. He has never looked down on another race and claimed they are less than he is as a white man.
For a good portion of his life, Trump was a Democrat. He stems from New York, which is one of the most diverse cities in the world. The man may be many things not perfect, but he is not a hater of people who are not his color or religion.
Trump traveled to Texas today, and he met with victims of arguably the worst storm to hit America in modern history. The costs from Hurricane Harvey from both a human and financial perspective are astronomical. More than 40 people are confirmed dead, and tens of thousands of people are displaced. It’s being estimated the cost of the storm will exceed $190 billion.
It is not often you will see Trump strip off the tie and jacket, but he did so today.
Trump rolled up his sleeves when meeting with the American people who are looking for his leadership amid a difficult time when everything is wet, moldy, and uncertain.
While in Texas, the president met with many people, including a little black girl who he lifted into his arms and gave her a kiss. Racists don’t do that sort of thing.
During his visit to Texas Saturday, Trump said he sees a lot of love in Houston. He was part of the love, and he has been showering Houston with tons of love for more than a week, rightfully so.
Trump has sent lawmakers an initial request for a $7.9 billion down payment toward Harvey relief and recovery efforts — a request expected to be swiftly approved by Congress, which returns to work Tuesday after its summer break.
