Trump makes Christmas visit to heroes at Walter Reed (video)

President Trump walked out of the White House Thursday afternoon and approached the group of photographers gathered outside, letting them know he was on his way to visit a special group of heroes – veterans at the Walter Reed Medical Center.

“I just want to say ‘Merry Christmas’ to everybody,” Trump told reporters.

“I’m heading right now over to Walter Reed Military Medical Center, to say hello to some of the bravest people anywhere in the world. They’re great people. I’ll be coming back right after that. I’ll be over there for a while. We’re just going to wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We love those people,” he said.

The president didn’t tarry to answer any questions. He had an important visit to make, to some of America’s greatest heroes.

Below are videos of Trump’s remarks, his departure, his presentation of the Purple Heart to a veteran at Walter Reed and visits with other veterans.
