On Friday at New York’s Trump Towers, President-elect Trump held a meeting with Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
Jeh Johnson met with President elect Donald Trump in Manhattan and the two enjoyed a forty five minute meeting together.
When it was over, Johnson left without comment to the awaiting press.
The Department of Homeland Security has blamed recent and multiple cyber attacks on the Russians. The Russian hacking issue is becoming more intensified daily.
The CIA had a meeting with Congress this week and CIA analysts reportedly blamed the cause of the hacks on the Russians pushing for Trump to be elected over Hillary Clinton.
Trump has consistently denied Russia’s role in the hacks and attacks on the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta.
The U.S. intelligence agencies all seem to agree the Russians did the attacks but no one has a definitive reason why it was done.
Only the FBI refuses to back the CIA’s assessment, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which oversees 17 U.S. spy agencies, has also refused to acknowledge the conclusion that the reason for the Russian hacks were to help Trump.
