President Trump during his visit to Israel stopped by the Western Wall to pay his respects.
After meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Trump visited the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and then went to the Western Wall with son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner. In a silent yet highly photographed and videoed moment, Trump rested his hand upon the holy wall while wearing a yamaka.
The powerful moment was recorded as the first time a sitting U.S. president has taken his time to visit the sacred site. Trump also placed a note inside the wall.
