Trump Shuts Down CNN Reporter (Video)

During his press conference Wednesday, President-elect Donald Trump called BuzzFeed a “failing piece of garbage,” and then went on to shut down CNN’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta, calling him “fake news.”

According to The Hill, CNN reported Tuesday night that intelligence officials had briefed Trump on an unverified document that claims the Russian government has compromising information about the President-elect.

As Trump was looking for a reporter to take a question from, Jim Acosta yelled to Trump, “Since you are attacking us, can you give us a question?”

“Not you,” Trump responded. “Your organization is terrible!”

Acosta continued, “You are attacking our news organization, can you give us a chance to ask a question, sir?”

“Don’t be rude. No, I’m not going to give you a question,” Trump responded. “I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news!”

As people at the press conference clapped for Trump, Acosta said, “Mr. President-elect, that’s not appropriate!”
