Trump Signs Executive Order On Promised Border Wall

President Trump kept his campaign promise, signing two executive orders Wednesday, authorizing construction of a wall on the U.S. southern border and directing Border Patrol to start doing their jobs.

Trump signed the executive orders at the Department of Homeland Security, after a ceremonial swearing-in of General John Kelly as the new Director of Homeland Security.

He then spoke to employees at DHS and told them, “We are going to restore the rule of law in the United States.”
