As he signed the new “Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda” executive order Friday morning, President Trump said, “I’ve been listening to American companies and American workers complain for a long time.”
He said this executive order “directs each agency to establish a regulatory reform task force, which will ensure that every agency has a team of dedicated people to research all regulations that are unnecessarily burdensome and harmful to the economy, and, therefore, harmful to the creation of jobs and business.”
“We’re going to get real results when it comes to removing job-killing regulations and unleashing economic opportunity,” Trump said.
He said the federal government will stop punishing companies for doing business in the United States, and instead give them incentives to do business here.
