President Trump on Sunday morning ripped into billionaire businessman, Mark Cuban in response to his comments made to TMZ earlier in the week.
Among other things, Cuban said Trump won’t make it four years as president. He also said President Trump’s tweets reflect a guy who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Trump’s Sunday morning tweet reads, “I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!”
Although Cuban did tell CNBC that he would serve as vice president to Trump, if asked, he said the same of Hillary Clinton.
Cuban helped Trump set up a massive rally in Dallas while he was vying for the GOP nomination, but Cuban has made it a point to continually criticize Trump for more than a year now, often saying Trump was unfit to be president.
Cuban formally endorsed Hillary Clinton for president months before the election.
In his remarks to TMZ, Cuban did say he likes some of what the president has done so far, including a major cut back on regulations. He said he likes Trump’s use of Twitter because it provides people a look into what the president is thinking, but he was quick to add that the president tweets about nonsense instead of substance.
Cuban also added that the president’s immigration ban was poorly executed.
I know Mark Cuban well. He backed me big-time but I wasn’t interested in taking all of his calls. He’s not smart enough to run for president!
