A supporter of President Trump whose photos went viral after she cleaned up Trump’s often-defaced Hollywood star said she was shocked at the way some people treated her afterwards.
Makenna Greenwald told “Fox & Friends” on Monday that after she posted photos of herself cleaning Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week, she got a firsthand look at how much some people hate President Trump.
“I think we should have more respect from both sides of the aisle, and I was blown away by how much disrespect I got for a simple act of cleaning up our president, who is the highest office in the land,” Greenwald said. “He should be respected, whether it’s his Hollywood star or talking about him in public.”
Greenwald’s post has been retweeted more than 51,000 times and liked by more than 208,000 accounts. “Stopped to clean [Donald Trump’s] Hollywood Star. Nothing but respect for MY President. #RaisedRight,” it says.

Last month, “Resist March” protestors in Los Angeles covered Trump’s star with stickers.
Eric Trump and Fox News host Sean Hannity applauded Greenwald, along with other Trump supporters, but she also caught her share of haters. One boy even went to so far as to mock her with his own version of her tweet, in which he claimed that Meryl Streep was his president.
