Trump Surprises Hotel Guests With Drop-In (video)

President-elect Donald Trump was in Washington D.C. on Wednesday for two dinner events. When the dinners were over, the billionaire real estate mogul made a surprise stop at the Trump Hotel.  As seen in the video below, which was taken by a patron of the hotel, the crowd was very happy to see the president-elect drop in at 9:30 p.m. local time.

Earlier in the evening, Trump attended two dinners that drew an estimated 500 people each according to various reports.

Trump’s first stop was at the National Portrait Gallery in downtown D.C. where VP-elect Mike Pence was hosting the event. He then traveled over to the Library of Congress to dine with his Cabinet nominees.

Reporters were not allowed in either event, nor were they permitted to follow Trump into his hotel.

The president-elect flew back to New York today for a brief visit to Trump Tower where anti-Trump protests are expected to begin at 6p.m. local time.  The protests are being led by actor Alec Baldwin and filmmaker Michael Moore.

Trump will fly back to D.C. later this evening where he will spend the night.  On Friday morning he will be sworn in as president.

Well hello Donald
