On Tuesday, President Trump criticized notorious aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, for transferring top secret government passwords to a personal Yahoo account right before it was hacked.

In his tweet, he wrote: “Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents. Remember sailors pictures on submarine? Jail! Deep State Justice Dept must finally act? Also on Comey & others.”

A reaction has now been prompted by the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). They are claiming Trump’s attack on Abedin is unwarranted.

The Washington Examiner reports the following:

“The Council of American-Islamic Relations slammed President Trump Tuesday for implying in a tweet that top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin should be jailed for her reckless handling of classified materials.

The Muslim civil rights group said Trump is attempting to use the Justice Department to shut down his opponents.

“Calling for the imprisonment of political rivals is a clear attempt by President Trump to further politicize the Department of Justice,” said CAIR Government Affairs Director Robert McCaw. “Every American who values the constitutional guarantee of due process should be outraged by the president’s statements.””
