TRUMP TWEET: Blasts Dems on tax reform

Arthur Laffer is an American economist who first gained prominence during the Reagan administration as a member of Reagan’s Economic Policy Advisory Board.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning, Laffer spoke about President Donald J. Trump’s tax reform efforts, stating he doesn’t know how any Democrat lawmaker could vote against such a measure and be able to live with themselves.

The president, being an avid cable TV news viewer, tweeted about the comments made by Laffer.

TWEET ONE: “Art Laffer just said that he doesn’t know how a Democrat could vote against the big tax cut/reform bill and live with themselves!”

TWEET TWO: “The Democrats only want to increase taxes and obstruct. That’s all they are good at!”

Trump has been traveling the country pitching his tax reform initiatives and is scheduled to sit down with Sen. Mitch McConnell this afternoon to discuss how the GOP can get a tax deal passed for the American people.
