On Wednesday, President Trump took time out to congratulate certain politicians in special election races.

In his first tweet, he congratulated Luther Strange and Roy Moore for advancing to the election runoff in September. Mo Brooks is officially out of the race for the vacant seat left by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Trump writes: “Congratulation to Roy Moore and Luther Strange for being the final two and heading into a September runoff in Alabama. Exciting race!”

The president also congratulated Mayor John Curtis who won the vacant seat in Utah left by Rep. Jason Chaffetz, after he resigned last June.

Trump simply tweeted: “Congratulations John!”

Trump then launched a congratulatory retweet, though it wasn’t for a political race. The congratulations were aimed at Fox News host Jesse Watters, who scored a noteworthy Sunday night prime time cable news viewership of 1.6M viewers.

Earlier on Wednesday, President Trump launched a tweet targeted at Amazon, the mega online company operated by CEO Jeff Bezos.

In the tweet, Trump wrote: “Amazon is doing great damage to tax paying retailers. Towns, cities and states throughout the U.S. are being hurt – many jobs being lost!”
