TRUMP TWEET: FBI lawyer resassigned


President Trump put out a tweet Saturday afternoon about the latest report from Fox News about FBI General Counsel James Baker.

According to the report, Baker has been reassigned. The Washington Post also reported earlier this week that Baker was leaving his role and is being formally reassigned at the bureau.

Trump tweeted: “Wow, “FBI lawyer James Baker reassigned,” according to .”

According to a seperate report from Politico Friday evening, House Republicans were seeking to look into Baker’s contacts with a liberal reporter from Mother Jones, David Corn, in the weeks ahead of the 2016 election.

Corn was the first journalist to release a report about the existence of the infamous dossier regarding unverified allegations about Trump’s connections with Russia.
