Emmanuel Macron won the presidential election in France today by a huge margin. Macron, who was endorsed by former U.S. president Barack Obama, grabbed 65% of the vote in a runaway election. Macron beat a far-right candidate often compared to President Trump.
President Trump took to Twitter to tip his hat to Macron. The president tweeted:“Congratulations to Emmanuel Macron on his big win today as the next President of France. I look very much forward to working with him!”
