President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump traveled to Saudi Arabia Friday, Trump’s first trip overseas since becoming U.S. President.
They arrived in Riyadh, and were welcomed at the King Khalid International Airport by King Salman, who was also one of the first foreign leaders to congratulate Trump when he won the presidential election.
Trump sent out a tweet early Saturday morning, saying, “Great to be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Looking forward to the afternoon and evening ahead. #POTUSAbroad.”

Saudi Arabia is going all out to welcome the president, and reportedly has several events planned – including a concert by American country singer Toby Keith.
Trump is expected to announce an estimated $100 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia while he’s there.
