On Wednesday, President Trump was a keynote speaker at the National Convention of the American Legion in Reno, Nevada.
President Trump signed what he referred to as a “historic bill” to help veterans while on stage at the event. The legislation he signed, called the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act, will streamline the process of veterans appealing claims over disability benefits.
He sent out a message on Twitter after the event, along with a video clip of his speech.
“As long as we have faith in each other and confidence in our values, then there is no challenge too great for us to conquer!” Trump tweeted.
