Early on Sunday morning, President Donald Trump updated his Twitter followers, saying ongoing discussions to repeal and replace Obamacare are indeed taking place.
Despite a majority Congress, Republicans were unable to weld their proposals on an improved brand of the Affordable Care Act. An array of grievances from both sides saw an expected vote by Congress on a new healthcare bill canceled last week.
However, as President Trump tweeted, negotiations to restructure the Republican healthcare bill are being maintained.
According to the president: “Talks on Repealing and Replacing ObamaCare are, and have been, going on, and will continue until such time as a deal is hopefully struck.”
