President Trump responded to the news Wednesday morning that the Austin serial bomber is now dead, having blown himself up in a car after police closed in on him around 2:00 am.
The 24-year-old man is reportedly from north Austin, in Pfluegerville, and was staying in a motel room. Police followed him as he drove away from the motel, but the man then pulled into a ditch and detonated a bomb inside his car, instead of surrendering to police.
“AUSTIN BOMBING SUSPECT IS DEAD. Great job by law enforcement and all concerned!” Trump tweeted.
