President Trump launched a tweet Tuesday directed at North Korea’s regime leader, Kim Jong-Un.

The U.S. commander-in-chief posted about how sanctions implemented on North Korea are truly applying pressure, since the isolated country is now open to discussions with the South Korean government.

Trump writes the following: “Sanctions and “other” pressures are beginning to have a big impact on North Korea. Soldiers are dangerously fleeing to South Korea. Rocket man now wants to talk to South Korea for first time. Perhaps that is good news, perhaps not – we will see!”

Earlier Tuesday, DML News reported about an internal document obtained from China’s Communist Party revealing that the country adopted a secret plan in September which offered to support the North Korean government with increased aid and military support if Pyongyang ceased its nuclear testing.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the document was dated Sept. 15 and labeled “top secret.” China’s plan for addressing the North Korean nuclear issue was outlined in the document, which stated that China will allow Pyongyang to retain its current arsenal of nuclear weapons, despite its public stance that it seeks a denuclearized Korean peninsula.
