President Trump took to Twitter Sunday evening to criticize the media for not covering the election won by a Republican in Kansas last week.
On April 11, a special election was held to fill the House seat left vacant in Kansas’s 4th congressional district by Mike Pompeo, Trump’s pick for Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and confirmed by the United States Senate. The election was won by Republican Ron Estes with a margin of 52-45.
Tomorrow, on April 18, Georgia will hold the second special election since the inauguration which will replace Tom Price (R), who is President Trump’s confirmed pick for U.S. secretary of Health and Human Services.
In his tweet, the president blasted the media for not covering either event substantially: The recent Kansas election (Congress) was a really big media event, until the Republicans won. Now they play the same game with Georgia-BAD!
