President Trump tweeted out another reference to the developing tariff situation between the United States and China on Friday, as he shared a video clip of his remarks from a roundtable discussion in West Virginia the day before.
“Now once again, you see America is open for business,” Trump said in the video.
“We have to go after the people that aren’t treating you right. For many years, no president wanted to go against China economically. We had a trade deficit of almost $500 billion last year with China. We can’t continue to allow this to happen,” he said.
“AMERICA IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!” Trump tweeted, along with the video.
