The dramatic and bitter battle over the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh as the newest Justice to the Supreme Court has fired up Democrats and Republicans alike – both realizing now more than ever the value of holding the majority in Congress.

As Kavanaugh was confirmed Saturday in a narrow 50-48 vote, defeated Democrats vowed revenge, encouraging their base to vote in November. Likewise, the message from Republicans has been to VOTE.

At a rally in Topeka, Kansas Saturday evening, President Trump emphasized once again the need for more Republicans in Washington, D.C. Following the rally, Trump tweeted:

You don’t hand matches to an arsonist, and you don’t give power to an angry left-wing mob. Democrats have become too EXTREME and TOO DANGEROUS to govern. Republicans believe in the rule of law – not the rule of the mob. VOTE REPUBLICAN!
