TRUMP TWEET: Syria and fake news

The president took to Twitter Sunday to express his thoughts about the bombings in Syria and how he’s been betrayed in the news ever since.

Trump wrote: “The Syrian raid was so perfectly carried out, with such precision, that the only way the Fake News Media could demean was by my use of the term “Mission Accomplished.” I knew they would seize on this but felt it is such a great Military term, it should be brought back. Use often!”

Trump is referring to the media narrative that he is starting a massive war because he used the same term, “Mission Accomplished,” as President George W. Bush used after he instructed the US military to retaliate by bombings portions of the Middle East after the September 11 attacks.
